UWG Main Campus Bookstore

Architecture
Interior Design

The collaborative design team of PRAXIS3, Amy Landesberg Art and Design, and Burgess + Kremer developed a design for a new campus bookstore for the University of West Georgia’s Carrollton Campus. With a prominent site that frames the new north entrance to the campus, the UWG Bookstore serves as an icon that greets students, faculty, and visitors as they approach the University. The building sits directly between the main campus to the south and the commuter parking lots and Greek Village to the north, making it a perfect meeting spot for the UWG community. In addition to providing textbooks, this next-genera-tion bookstore sells convenience items, technology accessories, clothing, and spirit gear, and plays a central role in building the UWG brand.
