Southern First

A workplace that embraces the charm and hospitality of the south. Southern First is located in the heart of Atlanta (Buckhead), Georgia and was looking to expand their ground level office suite and enhance their visitor experience. The design challenges were to look at new ways of interacting with visitors to make it feel more personal while also creating an additional office space that could be used for both employees and visitors as a more hospitality driven meeting area. The look and feel of the space had been previously honed and it was imperative that the finishes match so that brand would be continued from suite to suite between through the main building lobby entrance. The design team infused elements of “southern charm” across both spaces with the introduction of smaller private seating vignettes and a slate wrapped fireplace to promote the idea that the visitor experience is about the conversation and collaboration.
