Mercedes-Benz of Music City

Mercedes-Benz of Music City is an Autohaus 2.0 compliant ground-up dealership on the East Side of the booming Nashville metropolis. PRAXIS3 is excited to have completed our most recent project for Dream Motors and one of two Mercedes-Benz dealerships that include the ownership partner of Coach Nick Saban. The new 40,000 SF facility is set on a very tight, challenging and highly visible parcel at the junction of I-40 and Briley Parkway. The location and visibility of the building dictated that there would be no back to the structure and thus all faces of the building needed to be treated as primary façades. A key element formed by this requirement is the creation of a corner Jewel Box, within which a feature car can be displayed to the public as they drive along I-40. In addition to the display quality of this component, the opening up of this corner of the building provides an opportunity to bring natural light into the shop. The showroom entry is accentuated with the inclusion of a full height water wall which provides a backdrop to the reception area, as well as frames a visual link leading from entry portal through the customer lounge and into the service shop.
