Mercedes-Benz of Birmingham

The Mercedes-Benz of Birmingham store is our third Mercedes-Benz project completed for Dream Motor Group. The flagship store gains much importance due to its proximity to the Mercedes-Benz factory just west of the city. All executives and VIP’s visiting the city will recognize this store as the face of MB’s retail sales and service. The owner secured one of the most dominant sites in Birmingham providing the store with great visibility and impressive views from within the showroom. The design of the project needed to address the fact that the building essentially had two important public faces: one facing the interstate and the other facing the main public entry route. The design incorporated the use of a car tower at the intersection of these two faces; creating both a focal point which could be seen from both the interstate and the public entry road. To enhance the impact of this element a series of water features were placed on the hill just below the tower element. Through the powerful setting and the impactful design, the store is recognized as one of the most impressive Mercedes-Benz facilities in North America.
