PRAXIS3 completed this cutting edge, ground-up, headquarters building in 2015. The mission was culture driven, the vision was to create happiness, and the objective was to design a millennial workplace environment that encapsulates collaboration and creativity. Standing as a beacon in the local community, the final building form created an open floor plan with a central atrium, which capitalizes on the natural light to illuminate work areas. Based on the company motto of “Bank Happy”, the interior design started by engaging the employees to find out what makes them happy. This employee feedback was reflected in the themed collaborative spaces throughout the building by creating inspirational havens for team meetings, quick huddles, or a simple game of ping-pong. The work-spaces within the design had to serve several types of functions as the building housed many different departments including the executive team, HR, IT, Corporate Training, as well as the primary call center servicing the local branches. The first floor also included an integrated branch for local members, a gym for employees to stay fit, as well as a large community room that can be reserved both for company-wide functions and also community events.
