Great Egyptian Museum Competition

Conceptual

PRAXIS3’s design for the Grand Egyptian Museum to be located at the Great Pyramid site on the outskirts of Cairo, features a media-rich environment housed underground on the shores and floodplains of the Nile river. Systematically revealing the secrets of this vast and mysterious site, the building takes its cues from Egyptian mythology and culture. This unrealized design was developed in collaboration with a well-known Egyptian architect and Renee Kemp-Rotan, for a design competition. The design was selected to be featured in the completion catalog.
