Interior Design

The historic Glencastle site features the re-purposing of some of the most historically significant structures in the city of Atlanta. The old Atlanta Stockade was originally built in the late 1890’s and was significantly altered and added to in 1905 and 1910. The three-building complex features the 35,500 s.f., three level, neo-Romanesque main Stockade building, a 23,000 s.f., single story Stable complex, and a smaller 6,400 s.f. Blacksmith Shop. The buildings are being re-purposed and restored using National Park Service standards for Historic Tax Credits. It is expected that the buildings will be used as Creative Industry office and support spaces. During construction, the site served as a temporary television setting and sound stage for the Fox superhero series ‘The Gifted’.
