Georgia Southern Hall of Champions

Architecture

PRAXIS3 played a key role in the renovation of the Armstrong Recreation Center (ARC) at Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus, designing the Armstrong Hall of Champions to celebrate the legacy of Pirate Athletics. This 650-square-foot space in the ARC lobby prominently displays national championship trophies, the Commissioner’s Cup, and President’s Cup trophies, alongside banners from the Alumni Arena, all mounted on a wall constructed from the arena’s original hardwood flooring. The Hall also features digital presentations that narrate the history of the Armstrong State Pirates and the student-athletes who contributed to their success. Unveiled on February 11, 2022, this space preserves Armstrong State Athletics’ heritage, ensuring it continues to inspire both the Savannah and Statesboro communities.
